LADWP will begin construction on the Sepulveda-Venice Water Pipeline Connection in your area starting summer 2018. To reduce the impacts to the community, the project will be divided into 7 work areas and construction will move from area to area. Working hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday work may be required. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
Traffic lanes will be restripesd on Sepulveda Blvd. and Venice Blvd. to accommodate the work areas. parking on those streets will be restricted during construction. Temporary No Parking/Tow-Away signed will be posted as needed.
The Sepulveda-Venice Water Pipeline Connection is an important infrastructure investment to increase reliability of LADWP's water distribution system to the West Los Angeles area. The project entails installing a new steel trunk line between 20-inches and 54-inches in diameter under Sepulveda Blvd. and Venice Blvd.; a new regulator station on Bentley Ave., south of Venice Blvd.; and a pressure relief station on Bentley Ave. north of Venice Blvd.
