Being prepared for a disaster today means more than just having a plan
for an earthquake, fire, or flood. We must be ready for man-made disasters that,
unfortunately, include workplace violence, terrorism, and other mass casualty

Find out what YOU need to know and do to increase your chances of survival should
you be faced with one of these situations.

LAPD Officers will instruct us about everything from “situational awareness” at work
and in public places to the concept of “Run-Hide- Fight.” Additionally, they’ll take us
into the minds of first responders as they enter these types of scenes.
